After English.Spanish is the second most important language in the world.In Europe it is spoken in Spain.With exception of Brazil it is the official language in all countries in Central and South America, from Mexico,Domincan Republic to Argentina to Chile.In most Carribean Islands such as Cuba and Grenada Spanish is the national language.

It is advisable to master at least the basic of this language while travelling in these countries,as English or other foreign languages are not commonly used. Some knowledge of the language will make it easier to establish contacts with the local population,which make it possible to understand quicker the culture and history of the respective country.
