PROGRAM / ITINERARY

Day 1Lake Titicaca Peru: Arrival in Lima - Afternoon free

Reception at Lima airport and transfer to Hotel. It depends on the schedule you will have free time come to know a little of the Peruvian Capital (Ciudad de los Reyes). Also to visit the district of Miraflores in Peru's capital.

Day 2Lake Titicaca Peru: Lima-Cusco-Morning free-City Tour Archaeological

Transfer to Lima airport to board our flight to Cusco. Reception at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Free morning to start by altitude acclimatization. Going for a walk and stroll through the Plaza de Armas. Cusco is 3150 meters high. Altitude sickness and the effects can be intense for some people. About 13:30 we start the city tour with visit to the Cathedral of Cusco, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman Archeological Center, Qenqo Ceremonial Center, Fort Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Return to Cusco and overnight at Hotel.

Day 3Lake Titicaca Peru: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Cusco

At 8:30 am. You will be taken for the tour to Sacred Valley of the Incas, along the sacred river Vilcanota. On the way visit the Craft Market Corao, Taray viewpoint, traditional market of Pisac Typical. In the afternoon the Archaeological Complex of Ollantaytambo and Chincheros, the latter with its traditional market and religious buildings. Return to Cusco and Pernot in Hotel.

Day 4Lake Titicaca Peru: Cusco - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes

In time transfer to railway station to take train Backpakcer Poroy bound for the town of Aguas Calientes. We will take a bus to Machu Picchu. Guided tour of all the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. There is trouble in the return and we spend the night in Aguas Calientes what makes us all day to visit Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes Town.

Day 5Lake Titicaca Peru: Aguas Calientes - Free day-Cusco

Free morning to visit Machu Picchu again. Approximately 17.00 out our train back to Cusco. Reception at the railway station and transfer to Hotel.

Day 6Lake Titicaca Peru: Cusco - Free Day

Cusco is a fantastic city and has dozens of museums, craft shops, cafes, restaurants, quaint streets and great Inca temples worth visiting delayed. Each street must be covered and observed with admiration because they are enclosed by walls of ancient Inca temples, above which the Spanish invaders imposed their colonial architecture. So this day is reserved for you to learn better by itself part of these attractions.

Day 7Lake Titicaca Peru: Cusco - Puno

In time transfer to station for boarding bus bound tourist bus to Puno (9 hours). This bus is making stops tourists in the Andean highlands during the journey is 4 stops. Among these attractions is the Temple of Wiracocha. Reception in Puno bus station and transfer to Hotel.

Day 8Lake Titicaca Peru: Puno - Floating Islands - Taquile - Puno

Within hours 07h20 transfer to the port of Lake Titicaca. And we start to visit the Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island after. Visit the islands and traditional customs. Return to the city of Puno in the late afternoon.

Day 9Lake Titicaca Peru: Puno - Juliaca - Lima

In time transfer to airport in Juliaca (1 hour drive). To board our flight to Lima. Reception and transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon to learn a little of the historical center of the Peruvian capital and surrounding areas. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10Lake Titicaca Peru: Lima - Day Off - Departure

At time and coordinated transfer to the Lima International Airport to board our flight back to our country.

For a discount Student Card (ISIC GREEN), please send us a copy of ID card or passport by e-mail before applying. It is required for entry to the Inca Trail.
