Trip around Peru - South of Peru

Duration of the trip: 8 days and 7 nights

Programme 1st Day:

This tour depends on the time of your arrival in Lima! When your flight arrives before midday, we offer you the possibility to take part of a city tour in Lima Colonial center.

You will be picked up from our representant in Lima airport and be transfered to your accomodation.

Overnight

Programme 2nd Day:

After breakfast we take you to the airport for your next flight to Arequipa.

At your arrival in the "White City" Arequipa, we transfer you to your accommodation.

This day is programmed for a city tour to visit the colonial monuments in centrum of Arequipa like the well known Closter of "Santa Catalina".

Overnight.

Programme 3rd Day:

At early hours of the morning you will be picked up for the 4 hours trip to the Colca Canyon the deepest Canyon of the world. The trip offers a beautiful view of valleys and mountains as well as small towns.

Also there is the possibility (when time is enough) to enjoy a warm bath in the thermal springs to have a relax.

Then you will be taken to your accommodation in Chivay town.

Programme 4th Day:

Ater breakfast in hotel we make a short trip tour to the "Cruz del Condor" a top point for a perfect view of the Condors flight.

After midday we make our return trip to Arequipa and take you to your hotel.

Programme 5th Day:

After breakfast we take your to the Arequipa´s airport for your next flight to the city of Incas, Cusco, Navel of the World and Worlwide Heritage of Mankind" declared by UNESCO.

At your arrival in Cusco, our representative will be waiting for you and will take you to your hotel.

He will give your a short briefing about the following programme.

After midday, you will be picked up for the city tour and visit the Cathedral and the nearby inca remainds. that means the historical centrum, Qoricancha temple of the Sun, Sasayhuaman Inkafestung, etc.

Overnight in your Hotel.

Programme 6th Day:

After breakfast you will make a bus trip to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

During this trip you will visit the Inca remains and traditional indian market of Pisaq. Afterwards, you will stay for a lunch in Urubamba the principal city of this valley and the the trip continues to Ollantaytambo, for a visit to its temple and terraces.

In Ollantaytambo ist also the train station to Aguas Calientes, the town at the feet of Machu Picchu.

If you have time enough, maybe you would like to take a warm bath in the thermal springs of the place.

Overnight in your accommodation.

Programme 7th Day:

Early, after breakfast as one of the first, you will be taken to the bus for the short trip to the citadel Machupicchu. At sunrise time it is specially nice to enjoy the mystic atmosphere and enviroment of the place.

A guide is going to let you know about the history and different theories how Machupicchu was built.

You can decide also to make a walk up to the Wayna Picchu, (dependent on the capacity of visitors which is limited).

After midday we take you back with the train to Cusco via Poroy.

Free time and overnight in your hotel.

Programme 8th Day:

We take you to the airport for your flight back to Lima.

Overnight in your accomodation in Lima.
