Qosqo Huchuy 2d/1n is a quiet and pleasant walk, over 3100 meters.

PROGRAMME / ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco - Huchuy Qosqo - Aguas Calientes

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Chinchero Tauca. We will hike up to the first step (4,100 m) in the course of the day we can see Llamas and Alpacas. Then go down in 1 hour 50 about the archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, after two hours of visitation will continue our trek to Lamay, where we expect our bus then drive to the town of Ollantaytambo. Passing through Calca, Yucay, Urubamba and Yanahuara. At 19:30 Travel by train to Aguas Calientes. We arrive at around 21:00 . We take you to your Hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

After our breakfast, ascend by bus to the Citadel of Machu Picchu. You will be guided by the archaeological site of Machu Picchu, then you have some free time to walk around the citadel. In the afternoon we descend by bus to Aguas Calientes. At 19:20 we returned by train to Cusco arriving at 20:30 approximately. We transfer you to Hotel.

As your preference there is a checkpoint at Machu Picchu to climb Huayna Picchu. You must register your name and receive a ticket to climb the Huayna Picchu. The guide eplan you how to get the ticket. Only 400 people can visit a day divided into two shifts. Machu Picchu receives over 1000 visitors a day and generally lacking quotas to climb Huayna Picchu. No book has before. Generally, travelers arriving by other paths get quotas because they reach Machu Picchu earlier. In order to get it better, up early and watch the sunrise.
