Our highlights for you as a fan of this remarkable country, who wants to absorb in a few days as much as possible. This round trip includes most high points which this major country of the Inca culture can offer.

You will experience different facets of Peru; the western impressive capital city of LIMA, the sea shore region with its beaches, the desert region around NAZCA, as well as the high land region around CUSCO with its even more ever presence of Inka culture.

We will show you the NAZCA-HIEROGLYPH from a small plane.

You will learn about TITICACA LAKE with its aborigine people of UROS and its islands.

You will visit with us the knitting people from TAQUILE.

We will spend a night on one of the islands.

the trip continues to the "White City" AREQUIPA

We will make a 2 days tour to the steepest canyon of the world, the COLCA CANYON, with its uniqueness.

You will relax in the hot spring and admire the flight glide of the Andes condors.

Finally we end our Peru round trip in CUSCO, the anicient capital of the Inca Kingdom.

This city the basis for our visit to the mystic Inca City in the Andes-the visit to the world cultural heritage city of MACHU PICCHU. It will be the end point of our trip through the modern, the mystic and the historical PERU.

PROGRAM/ITINERARY

Day 1Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Arrival - Lima

Reception at Lima airport and transfer to Hotel. Depending on arrival time, it is possible to visit a little of the Peruvian capital as well as various interesting places that the City of Kings offers.

Day 2Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Lima- Morning free-Nazca

Approximately at 13:00 hours you will be taken to the bus station for boarding Royal Class category bus to Nazca.

Arrival in Nazca around 19.00 hours. Reception and transfer to hotel.

Day 3Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Nazca Lines-Chauchilla-Lima

After breakfast we transfer you to the airport terminal of Nazca also known as El Nido del Condor to board a small plane and fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines (50 minutes). From the top we will observe the figures of a Hummingbird, a Monkey, a Spider, an Astronaut, and various geometric figures. Some Nazca Lines are part of a huge astronomical calendar. Others are old maps of mountain roads.

Return to the airfield. Then we immediately begin a trip to the cemetery of Chauchilla; large amounts of mummies, ceramics and textiles of the Nazca culture. In the afternoon we board our bus for the trip back to Lima.

Reception and transfer to Hotel.

Day 4Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Lima-Cusco - City tour Archaeological

In the morning we transfer you to Lima airport to board your flight to Cusco. Airport reception and transfer to Hotel in Cusco. Free morning to start the acclimatization in Cusco (at 3300m). We recommend only going for a walk around the Plaza de Armas, to prevent the altitude sickness which effects and symptoms can be severe.

At 13.00 hours we start the city tour with visits to the Cathedral of Cusco, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman Archeological Center, Qenqo Ceremonial Center, Fort Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Return to Hotel Overnight at our hotel.

Day 5Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Cusco-Sacred Valley-Cusco

At 8:30 am start our trip to Sacred Valley of the Incas, after passes and valleys, we arrive to the town Pisaq, from here we travel along the sacred river Vilcanota. On the way visit the Craft Market Corao, Taray viewpoint, traditional market of Pisac. In the afternoon we make a visit to the Archaeological Complex of Ollantaytambo and Chincheros, with its traditional market and religious buildings. Return to Cusco and tranfer to Hotel.

Day 6Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Cusco-Machu Picchu-Aguas Calientes

In time transfer to railway station in Poroy to take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. From here we will take a bus to Machu Picchu. We guide you on a tour around the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. We go back to Aguas Calientes and overnight.

Day 7Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Aguas Calientes-Day off-Cusco

Free morning to visit Machu Picchu again.

At 17.00 hours our train takes you back to Ollantaytambo station and then with the bus to Cusco and transfer to hotel.

Day 8Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Cusco-Free day-Cusco

Cusco is a fantastic city and has dozens of museums, craft shops, cafes, restaurants, quaint streets and great Inca temples which make worthy stay longer. Each street offers something special and must be observed with admiration because they are enclosed by walls of ancient Inca temples, above which the Spanish invaders imposed their colonial architecture. So this day is reserved for you to apreciate better by yourself part of these attractions.

Day 9Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Cusco - Puno

At appopiate time, we transfer you to the station for boarding the tourist bus to Puno (9 hours). During this trip the bus makes 4 stops to make it possible to visit diferent attactions like for example the temple of Wiracocha. Reception in Puno bus station and transfer to Hotel.

Day 10Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Puno-Uros floating Islands-Taquile-Puno

Around 07:20 we transfer you to the port of Lake Titicaca. And we start our visit to the Uros Floating Islands and then Taquile Island with their tradional way of life. Return to the city of Puno late afternoon.

Day 11Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Puno-Juliaca-Arequipa

On proper time transfer to bus station for our trip to Arequipa in Royal Class service (6 hours). Reception and transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon to visit the white city of Arequipa and its colonial architecture. Overnight.

Day 12Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Arequipa - Chivay

Departure to the Colca River Valley. The trip offers town attractions and landscape like the town of Yura, the Aguada Blanca National Reserve Pampa Cañahuas where we can watch many species of birds in its natural habitat as well as alpacas, vicuñas and llamas. We make a stop to rest in townPatahuasi. Your journey continues to the town of Chivay.

Overnight

Day 13Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Chivay-Colca Canyon-Arequipa

After our breakfast, departure to Cruz del Condor, the point from where you can see the deepest canyon of the world and the flight of the condors. During our return to Chivay we will pass through the town Pincholo and also the town Maca with its picturesque colonial crafts market. In the afternoon return to Arequipa.

Day 14Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Arequipa-Lima-Free afternoon

In time transfer to airport to board our flight to Lima. Airport reception and transfer to Hotel in Miraflores. Free afternoon to see a little more of the Peruvian capital.

Day 15Long trip in South Peru + Machu Picchu: Lima-Return to your country

On time transfer to airport for boarding your next flight.
